2017 10 Japanese Cultural Center Honolulu "Okage Samade" exibit

Hawaii is so rich in ethnic diversity.  Japanese is one of them.  Their migration to Hawaii, life and adjustments, contribution and concentration camp during the war.... JCCH set up a nice exhibit with plenty of short videos.

 

2017 October Member's Meeting

A few photos of the members' monthly general meeting here.  If you haven't already, come and visit us at the meeting.  You can just come as a guest and enjoy the lecture, talk orchid with all the orchid lovers in the club.  It's all for fun.  Sometimes plant sales (great deal!), and / or free plants to take home.  Hope to see you there!

2017 10 13 Honolulu Orchid Show program

Congratulations H&R Nursery for the Best of the Show prize, and all the winners of the awards!  Beautiful flowers!!  Great show!

2017 10 12 Honolulu Orchid Show set up

Is everybody anxious to see the last orchid show in Oahu for 2017?  Honolulu Orchid Show opens its door tomorrow for the weekend-long event, and here is some preview photos of set up today.  Setting up and judging are all day event.  A lot of hard work put in by the volunteers.  So come and visit the show, and enjoy the beautiful display of orchid!  Also, plant sale (great deal!) by vendors.  Hope to see you there!
