Not as big as the stinky plant at Foster Botanical Garden, but here's some pictures of a huge aloe plant. My friend Earl has been experimenting to see how big an aloe plant can grow. So he kept breaking off the keikis and letting the mother plant itself to grow. At the beginning, this aloe was just a regular size plant. I can't remember how long it took but now it's pretty big with tall flower shoots, as you can see it as compared to the door on the background. The leaves at the thickest is like a foot wide.

2014 06 15 Taking a break from Orchids...
Being around orchid community for some years, one of the very interesting thing I found is that many orchidists actually have pretty diverse interests in other things. Some are into bowling, others are into Koi and gold fish. Great artists and musicians. I see many lady orchidists are wonderful cooks & bakers.
Here, I picked up some non-orchid plants, pulled out old chairs from garage, and made a little succulents garden in the front yard. Also, the tillandsias that I was afraid to put in the sun, finally debuted in full sun.
And then, of course we go back to orchids.....
